Biography

Isaac Knuteson studied with Madison Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Oklahoma City Ballet, Miami City Ballet & Central Midwest Ballet. During his time training he was able to work with Rachelle Fochs, Marguerite Luksik, Nick Mulllikin, Anaïs Chalendard, Julia Eisen, Aeron Buchanan, Lourdes Lopez, Herman Payne, Ryan Jolicoeeur-Nye, Oliver Muñoz, Jason Ambrose & Chloe Jenson.

In 2023 Isaac signed with Go2Talent Agency. He then assisted for Dupree Dance in 2021 - 2023, where he worked with Terrill Mitchell, Kobi Rozenfeld & Addison Holmes. He is currently an assistant for Showstoppers Dance convention, & assisted for Arielle Elonys, Nathaniel Trasoras, Mary Ann Lamb, & Alexie Agdeppa. He is currently judging for Fly Dance Competition for their 2025-2026 season, & just recently danced for Coldplay at Camp Randall Stadium.

Isaac danced professionally for Water Street Dance Milwaukee under the direction of Morgan Williams, Nova Linea Contemporary Dance under the direction of Jared Baker & Regenerative Beings under the direction of Brian Stevens, & worked with Alex Clair, Jennifer Milner & Tim Fox. He performed at APAP, Trifecta Dance Collective, Collective Contemporary Awards, Wisconsin Dance Festival, Midwest Arts Expo, No Dance Fest, Death Door Dance Festival, Open Jar Studios & World Of Dance Chicago.

Isaac started his own project company The Initiative. His Work been shown at New Jersey Dance Festival, GreenSpace, Joel Hall Dance, Trifecta Dance Festival, Delve Dance, Richmond Dance Festival, Dance Mission Theatre, Mashup Contemporary Dance Open Mic Night, Ballet Legato, Oakland Dance Festival, Mission In The Mix, St.Louis Contemporary Dance Festival, Dance City Festival & More. His work was chosen to perform at the Young Choreographer festival at New York Live Arts. Isaac Work also had the opportunity to work with Chutzpah Dance at Edinburgh Festival in 2026. Isaac work was also chosen as a ChoreoLab Artist, & had the opportunity of being shown at Terpsichore Collective & Dancing In The Summer Festival.

Isaac has received multiple choreography awards & Industry Nominations for his work. He has guest taught & set competition works all around Indianapolis, Texas, Michigan, Chicago, Des Moines, California & Milwaukee. Isaac will be taking on a leadership role at American Dance Company in Texas starting next season.
