That night I was heading home after a friend’s gathering & around 1:30am I was in an awful car accident. A deer came running into the interstate & hit me head on & I went spinning out of control into the ditch. My car was completely totaled.

I titled the piece Pathways because in life after I traumatizing event happens to you, you can choose the path you want to go down in life. You can learn & grow from the experience & better yourself as a human being. Or you can let that one event allow to change who you are/want to be as a person & let it affect you for a long time & not be pro active to fix anything.

This piece that I choreographed has a very special place in my heart. The song that is used was the song that was playing when the accident happened. I’m so thankful for each and every one of these kids for working hard & making my vision come to life. Thank you for trusting me & bringing my vision to life. Thank you Valerie, I know I don’t tell you thank you enough but thank you for allowing me to be able to work with these kids on a regular basis & to be able to allow me to create. I’m still getting over the crash mentally but this piece was a way to help me heal from the experience & trauma.
